Orders
Instore:
-We accept Debit Card (with a valid PIN) on all purchases.
-We do accept cash, though have a store policy not to accept $10,000 or more for a transaction , unless a Form 8300 is filed. We will NOT break a transaction into two transactions to bypass this policy.
-We accept Credit Card on all Supply purchases (books, holders,etc), and most Coin or Currency purchases, with the exclusion of Bullion or Bullion related items. We do NOT accept Credit Card for Bullion Purchases at all (even if you offer to just add the credit card processing fee to your purchase amount, Sorry for the inconvenience).
-We may accept a Personal Check for all purchases of amounts $300 or less, unless higher dollar amount is approved, but Valid Drivers License is required in all cases. We reserve the right to require an alternative form of payment or decline the sale.
-We accept a single Cashier’s Checks for all purchases. Valid Drivers License may be required. Payment must be presented as a single cashier’s check, not broken into multiple cashier’s checks, regardless of the dollar amount.
-When shopping with us online on eBay or WhatNot, we adhere to the platforms’ rules and regulations, and you can checkout with the payment method provided by that platform.
-When shopping with us online at https://edgewoodcoin.online/, you can purchase your items through the Basket/Checkout option at the top right of the page, and use the payment methods available as prompted. Orders will be filled after they are paid in full. The checkout cart will guide you through payment, but upon approval basis we may accept other payment forms like check, deluxe eCheck, Cashier’s check, or paypal for items being purchased on our website.
If you are local and would like to purchase an item from edgewoodcoin.online in-person, in-store on Edgewood Ave S, you can call the store and have the item held for 24 hours, unless another hold-length is approved, and purchase the item by the same methods as listed above. It will be removed from EdgewoodCoin.Online inventory and placed in in-store inventory, to be sold in the same manner and payment methods as accepted in-store. If item is not purchased within 24 hours or the agreed hold-length time, the item will be returned to EdgewoodCoin.Online inventory. If a customer repeatedly does not arrive to purchase hold-items, we will decline to hold items for said customer, to our discretion.
For purchases both via our website or in-store, Make Checks payable to: Edgewood Coin. Please note we will ship the item 4-6 business days after payment processes. Additional holding days may be added if your bank delays confirmation of your check payment.
Edgewood Coin is actively selling coins in multiple venues and at times may be sold out of an item. We keep our inventory as up to date as possible to avoid this. A full refund will be issued to the client if this occurs; thank you for your understanding.
Shipping
All Items will be shipped US Post Office Priority Mail or Fedex and will require adults signatures, generally 1-3 business days after the order date (or 5 business days when payment method is personal check) unless prohibited by a store-closing exception, examples being, but not limited to, the physical store at Edgewood Ave S. being closed for holiday, a coin show, or extreme weather. While it is not guaranteed, effort will be made to make notice of this type of delay for order shipment on our website, visible before checkout.
Shipment may take up to thirty (30) days from completed payment, depending upon the manner of delivery. Note that this 30 day period is IN ADDITION to all payment clearing times and any product-specific delays. Applicable taxes, as well as shipping and handling charges are not reflected. You are fully responsible for applicable taxes, and shipping and handling charges. Each package over $100 requires a signature upon delivery. Edgewood Coin fully insures all of its shipments sold on our website. Should anything happen while your package is in transit to you it will be covered by our insurance policy. However, we will not accept responsibility if you have left instructions with any carriers or delivery service to leave parcels unattended for you without the need for a signature or if you have given them instructions to leave your package with a third party. When we ship to you, if an item is lost or damaged, Edgewood Coin assumes responsibility to pursue any claim with the insurance company. We Reserve the right to require proof of loss or damages, to the extent subject to our discretion of sufficiency with the basis of what proof is required by our insurance carrier. If we determine the package is lost or damaged, we will file a claim. Once the claim is filed, we reserve the right to re-ship your items or refund your money at our discretion.
Please note that Edgewood Coin will not be responsible for reimbursements or insurance claims on packages that are successfully delivered as addressed. Our liability and insurance ends the moment the package is signed for or left at the specified delivery address. Any issues or problems with a shipment MUST be reported within 7 business days, else Edgewood Coin may have to refute any claims.
Returns
To return an item it must be in its original certified holder or in our sealed plastic flip. We offer a 7 Day No Questions Asked Return Policy. This however, does not apply to bullion purchases due to the volatility of the precious metals market. Please contact us before returning a coin and include a tracking number. Buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs. Please safely and securely mail the coin with a direct signature requirement to:

We must receive the returned items, in its original certified holder or sealed plastic flip, before we will process your refund payment.

We do in some cases offer Layaway for coin and jewelry purchases in-store but do not offer this option on our website.
